2008- Who vs Who?

I see signs everywhere for the Obama campaign. Whoopee.

But who is this McCain guy? Is he supposed to be running for prez?

Ok, not really. But for a couple months there, the campaign really felt like Obama vs Palin. And with some news programs, it still feels like that.

What don't I like? The fact that this campaign will now boil down to racism vs sexism. If I vote Obama/Biden, I'm not upholding feminist ideals. If I vote McCain/Palin, I'm racist.

I'm neither. I think a black man or a woman could hold the office of President. Do I like the candidates for 2008? No.

I will vote, but I can't right now which way my vote will go.

Misadventures with Captain Carlos

Just once, I'd like to see Captain Carlos choose the cookies instead of the nutritious food.

"I'm going to choose the cookies, because I need some treats in my life!"

Right now though, my thoughts are too jumbled to think properly. I'm trying to fix up a house and am so tired and sore it's ridiculous.

I'm so tired of all the campaign news, I can't even bear to surf past foxnews or CNN anymore.

Ugh.
